Frontman Errol Brown told the Mail On Sunday January 25, 2009: “This song was played to me by Mickie Most, our producer, with a soft rock feel. I wasn’t that sure about it, but Mickie was confident it would be our first #1. We made it more soulful and recognizably Hot Chocolate.”
This was already their seventh Top 10 hit, though, in a run stretching right back to the start of the decade.
