Music Videos Club — Media Kit
Music Videos Club is an archive of the stories behind music videos, live performances and television footage, from the 1950s to the present. Every entry pairs a video with a researched article about how the record was made, what it did, and what people get wrong about it.
What the site is
The site launched on September 11, 2024 and has published more than 1,400 articles. It covers the songs themselves — the sessions, the disputes, the chart histories, the arrangements — rather than reviewing videos or aggregating news. The reference point sits between an encyclopedia entry and a magazine feature: the depth of the first, the voice of the second.
Editorial approach
Every fact is verified before publication. Where a detail cannot be confirmed from reliable sources, it is left out rather than guessed, and the omission is noted. Chart positions, release dates, personnel and credits are checked against Billboard, MusicBrainz, Discogs, official sites and label documentation. Corrections are made where errors are found.
Articles run 700 to 1,300 words. Each carries a full metadata reference card — writers, producers, studios, chart performance, catalogue links — alongside the article itself.

Coverage
Rock, soul, pop, country, disco, funk and R&B, weighted toward the 1960s through the 1990s, with contemporary releases covered where there is a story worth telling. Artist hubs collect everything published on a given act. A weekly Week in Review covers the current charts alongside the week’s archive additions.
Submissions
Music Videos Club accepts information from artists, labels, estates and archives — corrections, verified details, newly restored or newly released footage, and anniversary material. The site does not run paid placements, sponsored articles or link insertions, and coverage is not offered in exchange for anything.
Corrections are welcome and acted on. Where a page contains an error, send the correct information and the source, and it will be checked and fixed.
